2012 Miracle League of Plymouth Registration

Miracle League Baseball is Hope, Determination and a display of Human Spirit that is unequaled. And of course … there’s baseball.

Last year 63 Players were the 2011 MLP Champions.  Be a MLP Player  in 2012.  Register March 1 – 31.  Together, We Will Have the Time of Our Lives

The Miracle League of Plymouth is dedicated to providing children with physical and mental disabilities an opportunity to play organized baseball.  This league is non-competitive, with all players getting to bat and circle the bases each inning.



Spring 2012 registration will take place during the entire month of MARCH

Fall 2012 registration will take place during the entire month of JUNE at the City of Plymouth Recreation Office during normal front counter hours (Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-4:30pm) and online 24/7.  For all program information, please contact the Miracle League at the the web page listed above.

 

Miracle League of Plymouth Fees: $85 for residents and non-residents alike.


Miracle League of Plymouth FAQ's: What are the age divisions for the league?
5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-17 years, 18+.


When do the Spring and Fall Seasons run?

Spring 2012: Games begin the week of May 1st and run thru June 9th.  If necessary, make up games will be scheduled for the week of June 10th.
Fall 2012: Games begin the week of August 13th and run thru September 22nd.  If necessary, make up games will be scheduled for the week of September 23rd.

 

 

When are games?
Games will be scheduled for Wednesdays and/or Thursday evenings and at various times on Saturday, depending upon the number of players enrolled.  There are two innings per game with no game lasting more than one hour and twenty minutes.


Where do they play?
All games will be held at the Miracle League of Plymouth, Bilkie Family Field located at 357 Theodore St. in Downtown Plymouth.


When will I be notified that my child has been placed on a team?
After the registration period ends, each player is assigned to a team.  Each team has two coaches and each player is assigned a buddy for the game that provides encouragement and assists with hitting the ball and rounding the bases.  The coaches will call the players' parents approximately two weeks before the season starts.
There are no practices, just games.


What should the players wear?
All players will receive a t-shirt and baseball cap on opening day.  Players may wear any type of short or pant and may wear any type of shoe with the exception of cleats.
