Sound Garden - Fall Celebration at the Trails

Indulge in an afternoon at the Lower Rouge Recreation Trail as The Arts meet Mother Nature as she's dressed in the brilliant colors of autumn! Stroll along the picturesque path and allow yourself to be serenaded by talented musicians that will be set up along the trail.  Potters, Plein Air Painters and other visual artists will also be demonstrating on-site for your enjoyment.  If you get hungry while you're there, lunch options will be available for purchase.  Admission to the event is free.  Park at the trail head lot which is located on Morton Taylor Road north off of Michigan Avenue.

If you've never been there...The trail is a ten foot wide path, over 4 miles in length, made up of compacted crushed stone with 8 wooden pedestrian bridges extending from Canton Center Road just south of Palmer along the Lower Rouge River to Haggerty Road just north of Michigan Avenue. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and bug spray.  For more information on the trail system, visit http://leisure.canton-mi.org/trails.aspx
