Each week, we'll feature a local game as our Plymouth-Canton Patch Game of the Week. This week, we're featuring the Canton Chiefs' first home game of the season, where they will face Midland.
The Chiefs are poised for another strong year this year after edging their cross-campus rival Plymouth Wildcats in a of the teams' before Detroit Catholic Central in 2011's district final.

The game kicks off at 7 p.m. Thursday at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park's turf varsity field.
At home on Friday is Salem Rocks vs. Ann Arbor Huron on the turf varsity field. The Plymouth Wildcats start the season on the road Friday, facing Lansing Sexton.
