Plymouth Wildcats Fall to Shamrocks of Catholic Central

Detroit Catholic Central advances, will face Rockford in state semis.

With some dominant defense, the Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks eliminated the Plymouth Wildcats, 28-7, in its Division 1 regional championship at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park, according to MLive.com.

Shamrocks running back Anthony Darkangelo rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, according to MLive. Wildcats quarterback Jamarl Eiland was 8-of-15 for 109 passing yards and ran for Plymouth's lone score.

The 8-4 Shamrocks will face Rockford (10-2) in the state semifinals.
