Red Wings Invite Fans to Practice, Red vs. White Game in Plymouth

Team to practice, play scrimmage at Compuware Arena in Plymouth.

The Detroit Red Wings are offering fans a chance to see the team prepare for its lockout-shortened 2013 NHL season in Plymouth today.

The team hits the ice at 9:30 a.m. today at Compuware Arena in Plymouth for practice, and will hold a "Red vs. White" game later that evening, beginning at 6 p.m. Both are events are open to the public with free admission.

The Red vs. White contest also will be carried live by both Fox Sports Detroit, with Ken Daniels, Mickey Redmond and Larry Murphy calling the shots, and on 1270 AM with Ken Kal and Paul Woods.

Doors for each event open one hour before the start time. Compuware Arena is located at 14900 Beck Road in Plymouth.
