On the road, Plymouth wins in rout.

All three Plymouth-Canton district teams were in action Friday, overcoming some wet weather that caused long delays.

The Chiefs improved to 3-0 with a rout of Livonia Franklin. The Chiefs came into the second half after the rain delay with a 28-0 lead and held Franklin to just six points en route to a 35-6 victory.

Also at home, on the Varsity Field, Rocks dropped its second consecutive game, this time against South Lyon, 22-7. The start of the game was delayed by rain for an hour, and aside from an early first-quarter drive, Salem's offense couldn't find a rhythm.
