Whalers Playoff Game to Be Aired Live on Comcast

Plymouth fans can watch or listen to team as it plays Kitchener on the road.

Fans of the Plymouth Whalers have a chance to watch or listen to the team take on Kitchener in the third game of their playoff series Monday night.

The Whalers, who lead the best-of-seven series 2-0, will be playing the Rangers in Kitchener, Ontario, on Monday at 7 p.m.

“I’m very happy for our fans,” said Mike Vellucci, who serves as president, general manager and coach for the Whalers. “We’ve talked about doing this for several seasons. It’s great to be able to watch a Whalers playoff game live, from anywhere around the league."

Whalers fans can watch the game on Comcast cable, channel 900, or listen to the game on the Whalers flagship station, 88.1FM, in Plymouth with the Whalers director of communications Peter Krupsky.

This is the first time a cable system has aired a Whalers game live on the road.

Comcast has been airing Whalers home games, produced by the Schoolcraft College Sports Network, on a delayed basis for several seasons. Whalers games are shown regularly on Comcast channel 900 at 7 p.m. on Mondays, 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and noon on Thursdays.
