Canton Hurdler Jeff Porter Advances to 110-Meter Semifinals at Olympic Games
Porter finishes third in his heat to advance on Day 11 of Olympic Games.
Canton's Jeff Porter of Team USA advanced today in the 110-meter hurdles, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Porter finished third in his heat with a time of 13.53.
Porter, a former University of Michigan standout, is married to Great Britain hurdler and fellow former U-M standout Tiffany Porter, who missed the 100-meter final today by .08 seconds, giving an early end to her Olympic competition this year.

Jeff Porter will advance to the semifinals Wednesday at 2:15 p.m., with a chance to compete in the final at 4:15 p.m.
