Canton native and double gold medalist Allison Schmitt keeps adding to her hardware collection at the London Olympics. How are you showing support?

Canton's Allison Schmitt has emerged as a breakout star at this year's London Olympics. Already the owner of Olympic  (), and medals, Schmitt has around the country.

Schmitt, a 2008 graduate, competed Wednesday in the 4x200-meter relay and to her collection.

Some festive fans painted the rock at  on Wednesday to celebrate Schmitt's gold medal on Tuesday.

I have enjoyed watching Allison Schmitt's outstanding swimming performances in this year's Olympics. The fact that she is from our own community has added a lot more excitement and interest in the games. Congratulations Allison!
