•Between January and March, the average price per square foot for Canton homes was $92, up 12.2 percent from the year before.

•Meanwhile, the median sales price was $175,000, based on 371 home sales.

•When compared to the same period last year, the median home sales price increased by 20.7 percent, or $30,000.

•Meanwhile, the total number of home sales increased by 11.7 percent.

◦Livonia, MI: $124,294

◦Northville, MI: $325,000

◦Belleville, MI: $107,000

◦Novi, MI: $173,345

•During the week ending on April 24, the average listing price for Canton homes was $223,258, up 0.4 percent from the previous week.

•During that previous week, the average listing price was $222,258.

•Broken down more specifically, during the week ending on April 24, the average listing price for a 2-bedroom home was $152,787

•The average listing price for a 3-bedroom home was $164,822

•And the average listing price for a 4-bedroom home was $312,426

•Here’s a look at how other communities performed in terms of average listing price during the week ending on April 24:
