Our Special Guest Reader, Chief Al Cox

Each month, Tutor Time Plymouth invites various members of the community to come read to our young learners.  This month, Chief Al Cox, Director of Public Safety at the Plymouth Police Department came and read aloud to several classes.  He brought his own book, "Officer Buckle and Gloria" by Peggy Rathmann.  The children loved it!  They were very excited to have a real police officer come read to them.  Reading aloud to children is a very important part of the learning process in young children.  It helps them to learn left to right progression, builds vocabulary, and helps to instill a love of learning!

We want to say Thank You to Chief Al Cox for taking his time to read to our children!  We can't wait to see who comes to read to us next month!
