Brew, Brats and Bands

Gregg King spent a big chunk of Saturday afternoon setting up Preservation Park and the Cady Boyer Barn for Brew, Brats and Bands at the Barn, the second annual fundraiser for the Canton Historical Society. King is optimistic that tonight's crowd will be larger than last year's. "We've already pre-sold twice as many tickets as last year," he said. About 70 have bought $25 tickets, which include brats, and samples of up to five of dozens of speciality beers which will be on hand. King said he'd like to see about 300 people attend, but allowed that might be an optimistic forecast. Today's admission is $30, but those who are designated drivers and not drinking pay only $10. The event continues until 9 tonight.
