'Canton Cares' About Joplin, MO

Canton Community Foundation and Canton Leisure Services have partnered to collect donations for Joplin, MO, tornado recovery projects.

Tornado-devastated Joplin, MO, is the latest to benefit from the "Canton Cares" project. A tornado hit Joplin on May 22, destroying more than 2,000 households and damaging as many as 10,000 other structures, affecting 50,000 people.

Checks and money orders should be made payable to the Canton Community Foundation; write Joplin Recovery Fund on the memo line.
