Detroit Tigers' Max Scherzer, Delmon Young to Appear at Canton's ABC Warehouse

Amid a tight division race, the Detroit Tigers' Delmon Young and Max Scherzer will take time off the field for a local cause on Saturday.
Young and Scherzer will be at ABC Warehouse in Canton as part of the Gloves for Kids program.
Throughout the season, Detroit Tigers players will be signing limited-edition Detroit Tigers posters at Metro Detroit's ABC Warehouse locations in exchange for donations of new or gently used baseball and softball equipment or a $10 donation to the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. The event is sponsored by the Tigers, 97.1 The Ticket and WWJ News Radio 950.

The players are scheduled to appear from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday at ABC Warehouse, 41690 Ford Road in Canton.
