Plymouth Community United Way's Annual Rake~N~Go

Plymouth Community United Way is still accepting applications from senior citizens and disabled people who could use a hand with spring yard cleanup. The Rake~N~Go takes place Saturday, April 28, in Plymouth, Plymouth Township and Canton.

Seniors and disabled persons in need of help should call or email Betty Nolan at (734) 453-6879, ext. 7 or betty.nolan@unitedway.org for an application by March 22. Applications are available here or the PCUW office, 960 W. Ann Arbor Trail, Suite 2, Plymouth.

Volunteers are needed as well to clean yards and do light outdoor chores. To sign up, call Betty Nolan before April 12.Last November, 350 volunteers made a difference by raking and cleaning the yards of 50 homes owned by senior citizens and people with disabilities.Together we can accomplish what no individual or organization can do alone.Serving the Plymouth and Canton community since 1944, the Plymouth Community United Way addresses human service needs for individuals and families.­
