Plymouth Community Fire Department Donates Smoke Detectors

Department gives 28 detectors to seniors at Crestwood condos.

On Saturday, the Plymouth Community Fire Department donated 28 smoke detectors to seniors living at the Crestwood condos in Plymouth who could not afford them.

According to firefighter and paramedic Greg Mangan, the department offers smoke detectors to those in the community that cannot afford them. Citizens can contact the fire department administration office at (734) 354-3221 if they would like a smoke detector for their residence.

There is a limited supply, he said.
