Plymouth Kiwanis Gears Up for Charity Golf Outing

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth is preparing for its largest annual fundraiser on Aug. 9.

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth is preparing for its largest annual fundraiser, the 30th Annual Charity Golf Outing, which will take place Aug. 9 at the Fox Classic Golf Course at , 8768 N. Territorial Road, Plymouth. The event begins at 8 a.m. with a pre-golf breakfast and shotgun start at 9 a.m.

The event includes golf, music, food, contests, surprises between the holes, and an after-golf dinner program. The Charity Outing is open to the general public, which is encouraged to participate in this high-spirited, entertaining golfing experience. The Outing will include a return to its past by celebrating with a BBQ Chicken & Ribs Dinner following 18 holes of golf, food and fun.

The entirety of the event's proceeds go to help fund the ongoing community service projects the club supports such as the , Mott Children’s Hospital, Growth Works, , , Plymouth's Tonquish Manor, , , , Special Olympics, Plymouth Clothing Bank, and more.

This year the outing cost is $150.00 per golfer or $600.00 for a foursome. Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth also offers several sponsorship opportunities.
