Learn to Cook French, Restaurant Week and More This Week

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Plymouth and Canton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Plymouth and Canton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Around Downtown Plymouth

Over the next few days, 10 Plymouth restaurants will offer price fixed three-course lunch and dinner menus for $15, $25, or $35 per person. All of the participating restaurants are within walking distance of one another.

    For the foodie

    Join Busch's Fresh Food Market on Thursday for a cooking presentation of wonderful French family favorites. Brigitte Romero is a special guest chef for the evening. Brigitte was born and raised near Paris, France and comes from a family of caterers, pastry chefs and chocolate crafters. Tickets cost $10 and include a $10 Busch's coupon, samples of every dish prepared, recipes, nutrition tips and more.


    4. For the film lover

    Part of the 'Shocktober' Series. A scientist has a horrific accident when he tries to use his newly invented teleportation device. Thursday, 7 p.m.

    5. Save the Date

    On Saturday, Oct. 5, the first Heroes on Hines event will take place. All proceeds from this event will go for the creation and maintenance of the First Responders Memorial being erected at Edward Hines Drive and Haggerty Rd. in Plymouth Township.
