Yoga in Kellogg Park Kicks Off on Wednesday Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

  • "The Gangster Priest" Opens at Cherry Hill Village Theater

Begin with gangsters and a speakeasy. Add a "priest", a monkey and hidden identities. Stir well and you have the recipe for hilarity! Don't miss this fast paced romp through prohibition, which opens on Wednesday and runs through Sunday.

2. Must-read community story

  • Plymouth-Canton Little League Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The festivities, which took place May 11, included introductions of each team in the league, a visit from the Detroit Tigers' mascot Paws, presenting of colors by Chapter 528 Vietnam Vets of America and a performance by members of the P-CEP marching band.

3. For the kids

Join lively astronomy popularizer Mike Best in this monthly discussion group, which takes place tonight at 7 p.m. Mike shares his affection for the sky with adults and children over the age of 6. Call 734-459-BEST or email him at starmikebest@aol.com.

4. For your health

Sun & Snow will kick off the first outdoor yoga session of the season on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. They have teamed up with Brent and Sheri Rieli, owners of the Plymouth Yoga Room, to offer Yoga in the Park. 5. Save the date

  • Free Violin Workshop by The Little Stars Foundation

The Little Stars Foundation (TLSF) is offering a free violin workshop in Canton starting June 6 for children ages 7 to 11 years old. This is the 5th consecutive year that TLSF has been providing free music workshops for local children. The registration deadline is May 30. (Read more here.)
