Wildcats Clothing Drive, Concerned Citizens Meeting and More This Week

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Plymouth and Canton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Plymouth and Canton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. For the kids

Health Spa & Integrative Chiropractic will host a posture workshop for kids on Monday at 6 p.m. Learn the secrets to improving your posture, with this interactive workshop that will show you what ideal posture is and is not. How to improve your bending, lifting and sitting habits. Specific stretches and exercise to correct these syndromes. Ergonomics of your work station and students carrying heavy back packs and sitting at school desk all day.  RSVP at 734-454-5600

    For a good causeThe Plymouth Wildcats kickoff the 2013 season against the Salem Rocks on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Wildcat families will be holding a clothing drive to benefit the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Clothing Bank during the game. The clothing bank provides clean, gently-worn clothing for families in need and served over 1,000 clients last year. They accept used clothing that is clean and in current fashion. They also accept NEW socks and underwear, as well as monetary donations.

    4. For your informationYou are invited to attend the PTCC meeting on Tuesday at the Plymouth District Library at 7 p.m. Plymouth Township Concerned Citizens provides fellow citizens with a reliable source of information on important community issues.

    5. Save the Date

    The Fall Festival resturns Friday, Sept. 6 from 12-11 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 7 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
