Established in 2000, Canton Charter Academy was the first National Heritage Academy in Canton and currently caters to 728 students in grades kindergarten through 8th. Admissions Representative Patti El-Amin states that the school prides itself on the moral focus program which teaches children the virtues that will make them better people. According to her, the pillars of the school are parent involvement, the moral focus program, academic excellence and student responsibility.
