They lied to me, put my life on the line by cutting me off of my medication cold turkey. I literally could have died if it wasn't for a kind pharmacist that helped me out. Also, I did not feel like I was listened to. They could care less in understanding what I was going through. When you go and seek help for something like PTSD and your case manager and Psychiatrist don't care about your symptoms or what kind of hell you are living with every single day, there is a huge problem! PTSD is a very hard condition to treat. People with this condition will have it for the rest of their lives. One of my PSTD symptoms is that I don't trust people at all cuz of what happened to me as a child. When a person/s who are supposed to help you, lie and take advantage of you, it makes you feel like you are being traumatized all over again. it makes the situation 100 times worse. These people should not be working in this profession. It takes a caring and committed person to do this kind of a job . It's all about the money and NOT about helping the patient who really needs their help in order to get better. It is very sad, that this is the way it is in our society now. Something has to change!
