The Plymouth Historical Museum is dedicated to presenting history through exhibits, programs and archival materials. The museum is housed in a 26,000-square-foot building, donated by Margaret Dunning in memory of her parents. It has exhibits that change throughout the year and offers educational programs for children. The Plymouth Historical Museum also houses a historical archive that is available to the public without an appointment, but a archivist must be present to access the collection.
