Tried Real BarBQ for the first time last week at a work lunch and was pretty impressed with the atmosphere and food. I had the smoked wings, fries and a side of mac and cheese. The prices were very reasonable, and food was very flavorful. I'd definitely go back. I just had a soft drink when I went, but I would like to see more beer selections at the bar to make it a dinner destination. Bring in some Michigan craft beers.

Worst BBQ EVER YUK

This place needs some real help with the food and the whole set up. I am a bbq smoker and this is no bbq restaurant. The food had no flavor. Very Very unhappy. If they dont change something with this place it will not be open very long.
Terrible. A total waste of my money. The briskit was awful and the sides were bland . We won`t go back. Management has serious trouble with this place. Famous Daves is even better!
this is NOT real barbecue. The ribs were tough and dry. Had to tug the meat off the bones, somewhat stringy too. It tasted like it was done in a broiler or regular oven with nothing to cover it. Nothing had much of a taste to it. Brisket was tough. First time there and definitely the last. I've never eaten anything so tough. Should've went to Outback for ribs for sure.
I was there today for lunch. Had the Smokey Joe sandwich. A mixture of BBQ meats on a brioche roll. I had high expectations for this mixture. For 8.99 I expected the portion to be double of what I got. Same basic sandwich from Lockharts BBQ in royal oak and I always take half home. not a good value for sure.
The cole slaw served with the sandwich was warm, cole slaw MUST be served cold
to be appetizing, not to mention the safety issue of warm mayo based slaw.
Service from the doe eyed pretty young lady kinda made up for the food. Likely won't be back..
