I have been a tenant at Twin Arbors Apartments since May 2011 and have used it as home base for running Plymouth Patch since that time. The complex is dog-friendly (please remember to clean up after your dog, though - don't ruin it for everyone else) and the staff has been more than accommodating. I have had no safety or security issues here, and the small maintenance issues that have come up have been dealt with promptly. As editor here, I generally stray from reviewing businesses, but as my home, Twin Arbors has met and/or exceeded most of my expectations.

This place is 5 stars all around. Tiffany helped us right from the beginning and we dealt with her from inquiry to move in and beyond. The grounds were the first thing my wife and I noticed about the place. It's beautiful and kept very well. They have dumpsters right in the parking lot so there's no reason for people to litter and even makes it easy to clean up after our dog. Everyone I see has a dog, including us, we not once have I see a "mess" on the grass. The buildings require to be buzzed in or a key which makes us feel safer. Having a storage cage in the basement is a huge plus as it stops clutter from happening in the already spacious apartments.
Once you're inside the apartment it's just this side of luxury. We moved from a 3 floor house and this one bedroom apartment is bigger than that. The closet spaces are something my wife adores, and I love the big living room area for my entertainment hook up and lots of room to play with my dog. Almost every room has lights preinstalled which is something not many places do and that makes it easier when you're moving to not have to dig through and plug in your lamps. The bathrooms are even very roomy. Every day my wife tells me how amazing the water pressure is (being a guy, that's something I don't notice that much haha). The windows get a little drafty but that's OK because the heat does such a good job, that balances it out and stops it from getting too dry and uncomfortable.
