Unknown Suspect Attempts to Break into Plymouth Township Home

An unknown suspect attempted to break into a home in the 48000 block of Colony Farm Circle on Oct. 2, according to a Plymouth Township Police report. The homeowner told police she left the house secure at 9:15 a.m. and said when her father returned home at 4:05 p.m., he had a hard time opening the front door, the report said. She said she went through the garage and discovered that the front door had been damaged, according to the report. The officer noted that the front door had a broken handle and the door frame was cracked, the report said.
