Miss the Prep Soccer Finals? Catch The Games on TV This Sunday

Locally, Country Day, Andover and Canton all captured state titles; you can watch a broadcast of the action this weekend.

If you didn't catch the boys high school soccer finals live, FOX Sports Detroit is airing the games this Sunday, so fans can relive the excitement. Auburn Hills Avondale and Country Day both captured their respective state titles on Saturday.  The finals will air Sunday on FOX Sports Detroit PLUS (check cable and satellite station numbers) on the following schedule: These games will then air on Comcast Channel 900 beginning the following week.  Here's the schedule:

P-CEP Park Players are staging Ken Ludwig's "The Fox on the Fairway" at 7 p.m. today and tomorrow at the DuBois Little Theater in Canton High School, 8415 N. Canton Center Rd. Producers describe the play as "a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with … golf." The curtain rises on all shows at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased outside the DuBois Little Theatre from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Salvation Army Plymouth Corps has issued an appeal for help is hosting or sponsoring a food drive. Canton Boys Soccer Team Heads to State Finals

Chiefs' Griffin Parks scores game's lone goal for shutout win over Warren DeLaSalle.

The wins continue for Canton Chiefs. The Canton High boys soccer team beat Warren De La Salle 1-0 in a state semifinal at Farmington High Wednesday night. Sophomore Griffin Parks scored the lone goal, with an assist from sophomore Ken Krolicki. Senior goalkeeper Steven Murphy picked up the shutout while handing DeLaSalle its first loss of the season. ESPN's Fab 50 Poll had ranked De La Salle (14-1 overall) No. 15 in the country and Canton (23-1-2 overall) No. 20. The Chiefs now face Grand Haven (18-1-3 overall) for the Division 1 State Championship scheduled for Saturday, but time and place of the final game won't be announced until sometime Thursday. The 14 candidates for four seats on the Plymouth-Canton Communitty Schools board of edcation continue campaigning and now the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce has an online forum. Election Day is Nov. 8. The Plymouth Wildcats endured a 2-1 defeat by Novi in state district tourney play Wednesday — spectator Tonia Gibbs Phillips reported on Canton Patch's Facebook that the "boys played their hearts out," adding that Michael Shackleford scored Plymouth's lone goal. Canton Chiefs Boys Soccer: KLAA Champs

The Chiefs beat Novi in double overtime

Canton High School's boys soccer team won the Kensington Lakes Activities Association Conference Championship Monday, a 3-1 victory over Novi in double overtime, according to reports on the team's Facebook page and home page. Chiefs' senior co-captain Connor Furgason scored two goals and sophomore Ken Krolicki scored one. The Chiefs, 10-0-1 in the KLAA and 14-1-2 overall, advance to the KLAA Championship against Walled Lake Northern at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Walled Lake Northern.
