Whalers Release 2012-13 Schedule

Home opener is Sept. 22 at 7:05 p.m. against Belleville. Schedule includes outdoor game at Comerica Park in Detroit.

The Ontario Hockey League’s Plymouth Whalers start the 2012-13 season on Friday, Sept. 21 in Sault Ste. Marie before returning home the next evening to face the Belleville Bulls in the home opener on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7:05 p.m. at Compuware Arena. See the Whalers' schedule by opening this PDF. Team will face London Knights as part of Hockeytown Winter Festival in downtown Detroit.

The Plymouth Whalers will face off Dec. 29 against the J. Ross Robertson Cup champion London Knights in an outdoor hockey game at Comerica Park. The game will be part of the Hockeytown Winter Festival, a two-week series of outdoor hockey games and winter-themed events in downtown Detroit preceding the 2013 NHL Winter Classic outdoor game between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
