Our goal is to bring you the most accurate and timely community news possible, but sometimes we make mistakes or incorrect information is provided to us. When that happens, we'll acknowledge and fix it as quickly as we can. We do this because we understand that being credible is essential to do our job as journalists and earning your trust is something we must do every day with every story. This transparency is part of that. So when we publish factual mistakes, you'll see an editor's note in italics at the bottom of the story with a brief explanation.
