Plymouth's Liberty Street Brewing Company Now on Tap at Ford Field

Fans of Plymouth's Liberty Street Brewing Company can now get a taste of home when they go to Ford Field in Detroit for Lions home games. According to owner Joe Walters, Liberty Street Brewing Company now has its beer on tap at Ford Field's Michigan Craft House, a new concession area opened in October that exclusively sells beers from Michigan breweries, including Short's, Bell's, New Holland, Founder's and Atwater. Liberty Street Brewing Company's Steamy Windows, a California common ale, is on tap at the stadium, Walters said. Walters said the Michigan Craft House can be found in the vicinity of Section 129, just off the 50-yard line on the main concourse area. "It's really a great place," Walters said. Northville Boy Scouts Troop Marks 65th Year in Community

Troop 755 celebrates 65th anniversary at Northville's Ford Field.

Hundreds of Troop 755 members from past and present packed Ford Field in Northville on Saturday as the troop marked its 65th anniversary. The honor earned kudos from Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Plymouth) and Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, who all submitted letters congratulating the troop on the feat. Scoutmaster Mike Kowalczyk welcomed past scoutmasters and scouts and emceed the event. In person, Rep. Kurt Heise (R-Plymouth) offered a speech for the scouts in attendance and noted his enjoyment working with local scouts groups. Were you at this event? Submit your photos above!

Headed to Ford Field? What You Should Know

Traffic, parking and details you'll need if you are headed to Ford Field for the state high school football finals Friday or Saturday.

Traffic: The interactive map above indicates the traffic around Ford Field. Any green highlighted roads are moving freely; yellow are moving slowly; red are at a standstill. Directions: Ford Field is located at 2000 Brush St., just south of Interstate 75 (Fisher Freeway) and across Brush Street from Comerica Park. Suggested routes are listed on the Ford Field website. Parking: The attached parking map (PDF) indicates lots around Ford Field and routes to get there. There are several parking garages in the area that are within a short distance of the stadium.
