14th Annual Relay for Life Is Saturday at Canton's Heritage Park

The benefit for cancer patients is not a typical fundraiser walk.

Thousands of people are expected to walk around Heritage Park this weekend as part of Canton's 14th Relay for Life. The annual American Cancer Society fundraiser has drawn 76 teams so far. Cancer "is one of those diseases that, unfortunately, touches everyone,” Cousineau said. “It’s personal for a lot of people.” She got involved with the event through her work at Community Financial, which has had a relay team for 10 years. The relay starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and ends at 10 a.m. Sunday. Last year's relay …
