Canton Band TwentyForSeven Releases New Music Video

Band, featured in last year's 'Opening Act' reality TV show, releases video for 'All I Ever Wanted.'

Canton band TwentyForSeven, featured last year on the E! Network's Opening Act reality show, has released a video for its latest single, "All I Ever Wanted." The song, released on iTunes in December, earned rave reviews from MTV's Buzzworthy blog.  The video, posted Jan. 16 to YouTube, already has garnered more than 16,500 views as of late Friday. TwentyForSeven features Plymouth-Canton Educational Park alums Rajiv Dhall on vocals and guitar; Blake Hayes on guitar and vocals; Matt Pastor on bass, keys, and vocals and Corey De Luca on drums. Canton Band TwentyForSeven is MTV 'Buzzworthy'

Canton-based band that has appeared on E! network's 'Opening Act' reality series earns glowing review for new single.

The bloggers at MTV's Buzzworthy are gushing over the new single from Canton band TwentyForSeven. "All I Ever Wanted," a new song released by the band, earned high marks on the MTV blog. "Actually, we're pretty positive this jam's about to become the kind of Friday night getting-ready jam that'll make you smear your eyeliner because you'll be jumping around in front of the mirror as you apply!" blogger Jenna Haley Rubenstein wrote.  The MTV shout-out isn't the Canton quartet's first brush with fame, however. The band, which includes Rajiv Dhall, Matt Pastor, Blake Hayes and Corey DeLuca, were hand-picked this summer for the E! network reality program Opening Act. Canton Band TwentyForSeven to Appear on Reality Series 'Opening Act'

Canton band opens for hip-hop/rock band Gym Class Heroes on E! network reality show.

When the members of TwentyForSeven, a Canton-based pop-rock band, went into Planet Fitness for a group workout session, they were surprised with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Amidst the band members' workout, all of the gym's television sets suddenly flashed that the band was hand-picked to star on the E! network program Opening Act, a non-competitive music reality series that allows independent musicians to share a stage with chart-topping artists. The show premiered last week on the E! network and TwentyForSeven's journey airs at 10 p.m. today.  Rajiv Dhall, the band's vocalist, said television crews and the show's host came out to greet the band, and the band was whisked off to Los Angeles shortly thereafter.
