Penn Station has cut the ribbon on its new Plymouth Township location at the corner of Ann Arbor and Sheldon roads in the storefront formerly occupied by Blockbuster Video. The eatery features an array of grilled East Coast-style sub sandwiches and fresh-cut fries. A new eatery is coming to Plymouth this fall, filling the space at 44431 W. Ann Arbor Road formerly occupied by Blockbuster Video, which closed earlier this year. Penn Station East Coast Subs has signed an agreement to open 15 new restaurants in the Detroit area over the next eight years, according to a news release from the chain. This expansion marks the largest deal Penn Station has signed in recent years the release said. The first restaurant will open this fall in the former Blockbuster Video spot in the Kroger Plaza at the corner of Ann Arbor Road and Sheldon Road in Plymouth and the second will open in the first quarter of 2013 in Taylor, the news release said.
