Hollywood hearthrob Ryan Gosling will be in town this spring to direct a film and is casting local actors for several parts. Gosling will be filming How to Catch a Monster, starring Mad Men's Christina Hendricks, beginning in May in Metro Detroit, according to WXYZ. This won't be the actor's first movie in Michigan; he filmed The Ides of March with George Clooney in 2011 in Michigan. However, it will be Gosling's directorial debut.
