Canton Police Arrest Woman On Charges of Paraphernalia Possession, Driving with Suspended License

Canton Township Police arrested a woman on charges of possessing marijuana and driving with a suspended license 8:06 a.m. Jan. 8 near the intersection of Ford and North Lilley roads, according to a police report. The officer noticed the driver’s side brake tail light was broken on a black 1999 Toyota Solara heading eastbound on Ford Road and the paper plate in the rear window was faded and illegible, the report said. When stopped by the officer, the driver said her wallet was stolen a few days before and she did not have her Michigan driver’s license or any other form of identification, according to the report.
