Just Baked, 41747 Ford Road in Canton, is getting into the Election Day spirit. The bakery is offering cupcakes today featuring President Barack Obama, the Democratic donkey symbol, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and the Republican elephant symbol. The cupcakes, featuring faces of the two candidates, have sold well today but sales have favored the Mitt Romney-themed cupcake, employees said. Tim Horton's, the popular doughnut and coffee chain, is offering a printable coupon on its website redeemable for a free doughnut with any other purchase. National Donut Day, celebrated the first Friday of June each year, was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I, according to a news release from Dunkin' Donuts.
