It's time to break out the snowblowers and winter boots as snow is quickly accumulating. Show us photos of your snowfall!

It's time to put on your winter boots and start up the snowblower, as we're in the midst of the season's biggest snowfall (so far)! With the kids off for winter break and plenty of new winter toys at their disposal, we want to see how you're enjoying (or coping with) the snow. Winter Storm Watch in Effect Until 7 a.m. Thursday

35th District Court closes; City of Plymouth monitoring storm, clearing roads as snow accumulates.

From the City of Plymouth: Snow has started to fall here in the City of Plymouth and we are expecting a total storm accumulation of up to six inches, with one to two inches falling this afternoon and the remainder during the overnight hours. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch that will remain in effect until 7 a.m. on Thursday. City Municipal Services crews are prepared for the winter weather as plows have been mounted on some trucks and the salt trucks are prepared as well. Full supplies of salt and other deicing materials are on hand with several hundreds of tons of salt and supplies in storage. Expect 2-7 Inches of Snow Today in Plymouth and Canton

Snow will start falling in the afternoon and continue into the evening.

Last year's wimpy winter will not be a repeat for Michigan, if this week is any indication. Following Christmas Eve's traffic-clogging snowfall—which ranged from a dusting to several inches in Metro Detroit—residents of Plymouth, Canton and surrounding areas can expect significant snow today. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area, and is predicting up to seven inches of snowfall, starting at about 1 p.m. today. Flurries could begin overnight, turning into a steady snowfall by the afternoon. The chance of snow, according to NWS, is 100 percent. Forecasts called for temperatures to drop into the high 20s by 10 a.m. today, and winds are expected to pick up throughout the day, gusting as high as 26 …
