Christmas Lights, Camera, Action: Enjoy Songs from Hollywood's Holiday Classics

Each day leading up to Christmas Day, Patch will offer holiday-themed music playlists.

Do you hear what I hear?  Christmas carolers are making their way to local neighborhoods and A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life are starting to make the rounds on repeat on TV networks. To get in on the holiday spirit, Patch is creating playlists of Christmas music each day to help spread the cheer. So here's the deal: Each day, from today through Christmas, we'll feature a uniquely different, themed Christmas music playlist. Today's theme is Hollywood Christmas. We've hand-picked songs from some of the Christmas movie greats—with a few obscure additions. Holiday Classics Coming to Penn; What's Your Favorite Christmas Movie?

In the midst of all the holiday hoopla, holiday-themed movies provide some much-needed escapism. Downtown Plymouth's Penn Theatre is offering a slate of Christmas-themed films each Thursday over the next four weeks, beginning Nov. 29 with the 1946 classic It's a Wonderful Life.
