Canton Police Arrest Woman On Charges of Paraphernalia Possession, Driving with Suspended License

The following information was provided by the Canton Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Canton Township Police arrested a woman on charges of possessing marijuana and driving with a suspended license 8:06 a.m. Jan. 8 near the intersection of Ford and North Lilley roads, according to a police report. The officer noticed the driver’s side brake tail light was broken on a black 1999 Toyota Solara heading eastbound on Ford Road and the paper plate in the rear window was faded and illegible, the report said. When stopped by the officer, the driver said her wallet was stolen a few days before and she did not have her Michigan driver’s license or any other form of identification, according to the report. Canton Police Arrest Woman On Charges of Paraphernalia Possession

The following information was provided by the Canton Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Canton Township Police arrested a woman on charges of narcotic equipment and paraphernalia possession 10:54 p.m. Nov. 16 near the 39000 block of Ford Road, according to a police report.  The responding officer was dispatched to Emagine Theaters for a disorderly female in the lobby, the report said. The officer located her on Ford Road where she was walking in the middle of the exit lane making cars drive slowly behind her, according to the report. The woman was carrying flowers and had an abrasion on her knee, the report said, and she said she had been drinking for about seven hours and had smoked weed and crack. The officer found her to have six warrants including traffic violations and larceny, according to the report. The officer …

To be fair, the woman was considered disorderly, which was the initial reason the police were dispatched to Emagine. According to the report, police found she had been drinking heavily and smoking marijuana and crack cocaine and whey they searched her, they found the paraphernalia. Would you rather have them ignore the disturbance call completely or pretend they didn't find the pipe?   more ›
