Department unit sends decoys to 25 Canton retailers.
Canton Police cited 8 retailers on charges of selling alcohol or tobacco to minors, according to a news release from the department. According to the news release, the Canton Police Department's Special Enforcement Unit conducted alcohol and tobacco sales checks at 25 local businesses using decoy minors. Of the 25 stores visited by the decoys, 17 refused sales of alcohol and tobacco to minors, the news release indicated.
