Personal Information

I have lived in Canton for since 1985, I have two children, a loving wife and Three English Springer Spaniels.  I enjoy Music, physical fitness (Karate and Weight lifting) and recently purchased a motorcycle.  I am a Realtor.<br><br><br><b>Current Work <br>Experience</b><br><br>Started in 1996 as a buyers agents and have been in the <br>residential market ever since. I acquired my Brokers license the 3rd year in the business and several other professional designations that offer additional expertise in the marketplace. Please see below my specialties. I have an extreme technical background and very workable knowledge of computers and software. I conduct a majority of the technical training at our company. I am a graduate of the Canton Leadership Training program in 2000 and have been an instructor as well as sat on the leadership steering committee since then. I beleive that leadership is a main focus of my life, my goal is to make a positive impact on every life I touch in my lifetime.

I am an Expert in Buyer Agency relationships and have my ABR designation. I also have a CRS, Certified Residential Specialist and GRI, Graduate of the Real Estate Institute for my Associate Brokers License. I am also a e-PRO to work with those clients who prefer electronic communications. I have my CDPE designation for Certified Distressed Property Experts for those experiencing difficulty in short sales and foreclosed homes<br><br><b>Advanced  Designations</b>

ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative, Specialized training in <br>working with the specific needs of the buyer. Discussing Agency, Fiduciary  responsibility, investment buyers, buyer protection and many more faucets fo the buyers side to the Real Estate transaction.

CCS - Certified Commercial Specialist, studies that cover the wide area of Commercial properties.  My focus is primarily on Retail sales and investment opportunities.

CDPE - Certified Distressed Property Expert, specialty designation to work with clients going thru foreclosure, short sale, loan modification options. Perspectives from both the Seller and the Buyer and what specific actions the banks and mortgage companies are looking for. Detailed information about the complete package requirements for a short sale, flowcharts and working procedures for following the short sale/foreclosure process. Training offered great insight to the banking industry and getting the approval of the short sale.

CRS - Certified Residential Specialist, extensive training to cover all aspects of the residential marketplace in real estate. Detailed coverage of required documentation, disclosures, marketplace analysis, etc. <br>Investment analysis as well looking at ROI for the investment buyer. Creation of the APOD (Annual Property Operating Detail)

e-Pro - official designation to better understand working with the consumer and the electronic communication required today. Working in the social media environment, client identity protection and even electronic signatures. 

GRI - Graduate Real Estate Institute- primary broker training, extensive training on fair housing, RESPA, liability, disclosures and agency discussions. Over 90 hours of training to cover the REALTORS fiduciary responsibilities.

Sit on the Board of directors for the Western Wayne Oakland County Association of Realtors. My job there is to represent the agent population and membership of the board for the purposes of mprovement and growth in our local areas. I am also teaching some of our Continuing Education programs this year.

Vice President and General Manager RE/MAX Classic Real Estate industry

October 1996 – Present (14 years 6 months)

As the Vice President and General Manager of REMAX Classic, I am responsible for all daily functions of our offices. I work with our independant agents regarding transactions, closings, contract negotiations and daily business activity. I also am responsible for all training, scheduling, conducting courses, creating support documentation and posting all documents to the company intranet. I am also apart of the management team responsible to maintain all of the company systems. I support/sell all of the company websites as well as personal agent sites. I conduct one on one coaching for all agents who wish to participate. I keep all forms and transaction documents up to date with all legal issues. Responsible for recruiting and retention strategies development and Implementation. Conduct recruiting interviews. I am responsible for all data analysis of sales for forecasting and business planning. I teach business planning to each of our agents every year.

October 1996 – Present  <br>I have enjoyed being a REALTOR and helping so many people find <br>or sell the american dream. There is a satisfaction when someone finds that perfect little home, or there dream home, or that something special that they were looking for, there eyes really do light up. It has been and changing market over the years, and today, service and understanding and education to the consumer is vital. Short sales are a big part of the process, it&#39;s 180 degrees from what we used to do. I feel that I have to have all of the education necessary to support and guide my clients with one of the biggest financial desicisions in there life. Never the hard sell, just the information you need to make the right decisions.

Past Chairman of the Board Canton Chamber of Commerce <br>2005 – 2007 (2 years)

Worked with a talented Board of Directors to support a Chamber <br>membership of over 650 members. Developed a written 5 year business plan with the boards assistance and the President of the Chamber. Had a close working relationship with the President.
