I consider myself fortunate to be able to make a living doing something I love -- writing about sports. I especially enjoy writing about amateur sports, whose participants are motivated by their passion for the games they play, not money.

From 2004 through 2009, I served as the sports editor for the Plymouth and Canton Observers. During my tenure at the Observer -- which was cut short by mass, economy-driven lay-offs -- I built a strong and lasting relationship with the area's sports administrators, coaches, athletes and fans.

In September of 2009, I launched PlymouthCantonSports.com, a website that has generated over 900,000 page views in its first year.  

I fully embrace this opportunity to contribute exclusive articles to Patch.com, a brilliantly conceived website that has a bright future.
