ReplySo nice to see the Canton Police react so swiftly and apprehend those alleged criminals. Regardless of what was posted by their friends and relatives the fact is they did a dirty deed and if found guilty they will be prosecuted. Makes me glad I chose to live in Canton when I retired and moved back to Michigan! To the men in Blue…Great job!!!!

ReplyI think old Joe just wanted to get a few readers ticked off and he did. What he said was stupid since it's not always Detroit blacks who have commited crimes in Canton. I dont care where they were from......a crook is a crook.
I would like to say the Canton Police were on top of things as usual....Great job guys! You make me feel good about all those tax dollars I pay every year. Keep on doing what you do best and please stay safe! -

ReplyDont change a thing! Leave it just as it is unless Coca Cola, Pepsi or one of the big name corporations want to come in and sponsor each and every students future college education and then they can name the team whatever they want! Hey everyones looking to save a dime....Why not?

ReplyMy father in law lived and worked here in Michigan for Michigan Bell years ago. He retired back in 1979. He had withdrawn from the union after several years at Ma Bell because he said it was a personal choice not a political choice. He claimed he was never harassed in any way and on the rare occasion that he felt he needed a union reps advice he was given the help he needed without hesitation on the unions part. I worked for two auto companies before I retired both as an hourly employee and supervision and never once saw any union person harassing non union members. Sure, once a year you would get a letter asking you to vote for the candidates the union felt would do the most good for them but any donated monies were given voluntarily by those union members who chose to do so. Snyder needs to leave Michigan politics before we become a statewide Detroit!

I've lived in Canton for close to 10 years and the Canton Police have always appeared to be nothing less than top professionals when it comes to their job...Period!
Our firemen are in the same category. I'd much rather live here than anywhere else in the metro area. I sleep great at night knowing those guys are out there keeping watch over my family. One bad cop wont spoil the force.
