Classic Horror Movies Return to The Penn During Shock-tober

This year's Halloween selections bring suspense, monsters and comedy to the historic downtown theater in October.

The days are becoming chilly, leaves are changing color and scarecrows line Kellogg Park - fall has officially arrived in Plymouth and Halloween is right around the corner. 

'Shock-tober,' an annual tradition at The Penn, will feature scary classic films for the entire family. 

The film series kicks off Oct. 3. Check out the schedule below.

Oct. 3
The Fly (1958) - A scientist has a horrific accident when he tries to use his newly invented teleportation device.

Oct. 10
The Mummy (1932) - 
A living mummy stalks the beautiful woman he believes is the reincarnation of his lover.

Oct. 17
Phantom of the Opera (1943) - 
This is the story of a disfigured violinist who haunts the Paris Opera House.

Oct. 24
Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) - 
Two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man.
