Missing Plymouth Township Teen Found in a Field with 37-Year-Old Man

Police said the pair was transported to separate hospitals to be treated for self-inflicted, superficial wounds.

Missing 15-year-old teen Emily Nicole Lalinsky and the 37-year-old man with whom she ran away have been found, according to various reports.

Emily and Robert Messer were found around 3 p.m. Tuesday in a Salem Township field, the Detroit Free Press reported.

They were transported to separate hospitals to be treated for self-inflicted "superficial" wounds to the wrist, according to WXYZ Channel 7

The pair went missing Sunday after Messer picked up Emily to go hiking in Ann Arbor. Police said they both left notes expressing their love for one another.

Plymouth Township Police Lt. Cal Lauria said that Messer is a longtime friend of Emily's family.

The pair left behind both of their cell phones and an iPad, and police said they did not have any money or access to money.

Messer is in police custody pending charges, according to the Detroit Free Press.
