Police Investigating Bank Robbery at Canton Kroger
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for a tip that leads to an arrest.
Canton police are investigating a robbery at the Best Bank, inside the Kroger on Michigan Avenue at Canton Center Road on Thursday afternoon.
Police said that a man approached the bank teller at the counter and requested cash while implying that he had a weapon.
The man was wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, police said.
The man fled the scene before police arrived. No injuries were reported during the robbery, and the incident remains under investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact the Canton Police Department at 734/394-5400. Crime Stoppers will also take anonymous tips at 1-800-SPEAK UP, or online to www.1800speakup.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for a tip that leads an arrest.
